Investigators said they were able to confirm that Roberts boarded a bus headed to Jacksonville, Florida, with a scheduled 30 minute stop in Columbus Ohio on the way.
Roberts' mom, who has court-ordered guardianship of her daughter, said Roberts did not have permission to leave or to travel. There was concern for her safety, as police said she is "severely autistic" and cognitively impaired, and may not have been taking her medication.
In an update issued a little after 7 p.m. Friday, State Police said Roberts had been found, but they did not say where. No further details were released.
