TROY, Mich. (WWJ) -- One man is in custody and two others are on the run after allegedly robbing a high-end boutique in Troy.

Troy police say around 10 a.m. on March 12, three suspects entered the Louis Vuitton boutique inside Saks Fifth Avenue at 2901 W. Big Beaver Road and scooped up an estimated $51,000 of merchandise.

The suspects made a beeline for the door and a member of the store's loss prevention team was able to detain one of them, while the other two escaped.

The other two suspects fled the scene in a Kia rental car, which was later recovered by Lathrup Village police. Several stolen handbags were found inside the Kia.
