Police: Bystander Killed In Shooting On Detroit's East Side

(WWJ) A man was killed when two suspects crashed a gathering and opened fire on Detroit's east side. 

Detroit Police say the victim, 30, was at a home on Barham, near Warren and Alter, for a gathering with friends when two suspects pulled up in a car. It happened Monday morning at 2:55 am.


The suspects got into an argument with each other, before getting out of the car and shooting the victim; according to police.

He died at the scene.

Police tell WWJ the suspects were driving a "silver mid-size sedan." They described the men as African American, ranging from 25 to 40 years old. Both were armed, according to investigators.

It is unclear if they had any connection to the victim.
