DETROIT (WWJ) - An Ohio man accused of stashing an AK-47 assault rifle behind an ice maker at Detroit's Greektown Casino Hotel earlier this week has now been charged.

The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office announced Friday that 23-year-old Marlo Smith, who also goes by the name Mario Smith, was scheduled to be arranged Friday afternoon on a single count of carrying a concealed weapon.

The gun, with one live round in the chamber, was found Tuesday morning in a bag with a Bible that had a list of cities written in it, according to investigators. The cities were all those which had dealt with mass shootings in the past, according to Detroit Police Chief James Crag, who said Detroit was not on the list.

Charges have not been announced for second suspect who was arrested in the case.

Police said both of the men are from Cleveland and both have a criminal history. It remains unclear what, if anything, they may have planned to do with the rifle or the list.

An investigation involving Detroit Police, Michigan State Police and the FBI is ongoing.
