(WWJ) Detroit police detectives are investigating after a young man was found fatally shot on the city's northwest side.
Police found the 20-year old victim in the passenger seat of a car that had hit several parked vehicle and a tree early this morning, on Griggs Street, near McNichols and Wyoming.
A 911 caller reported hearing multiple shots fired, prior to the crash.
Police are trying to find out what led up to the shooting, which is believed to have happend at around 1:30 a.m. Thursday.
It's not yet clear who was driving the car, police said.
At this point there have been no arrests and there are no suspects.
