(WWJ) Detroit Police are trying to track down two women accused of robbing a store on the city's east side.
Police say the suspects entered the store, pulled items off the shelves, placed them in a shopping cart and left without paying. It happened on Thursday, March 26, on Gratiot near East Grand Boulevard around 5:20 pm.
Investigators tell WWJ the women drove away in a black Chevrolet Malibu with a Michigan license plate.
Police describe the first suspect as African American and "heavy set." She was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark leggings and flip flops.
The second suspect is also described by police as "heavy set." She has hair in long braids; and was last seen wearing a light-colored jacket and blue jeans.
