Detroit Police Trying To Track Down Trio Accused In Multiple Armed Robberies (PHOTOS)

(WWJ) Detroit Police are trying to track down three suspects wanted in at least five armed robberies on the city's west side. 

Police said three "unknown suspects" approached the victim, 28, while he was waiting at the bus stop in the area of Greenfield and Ellis around 5:20 am Wednesday. Two of the men drew long guns and demanded his valuables, according to police.


The suspects ran away after the victim gave them his belongings, police said.

Investigators told WWJ the men are also likely involved in three additional armed robbery incidents that occurred between 2:40 am and 5:20 am that same morning, involving male victims between the ages of 18 and 35.

Police suspect the men also robbed a man at gunpoint on August 18. Investigators said a skateboarder, 33, was in the area of Clarita and Lasher shortly after midnight when three men approached him. One of them drew a handgun and demanded his money, according to police.

Suspect #1 (pictured above) is described as about 20 years old, between 5'9" and 5'10". He is "large build" approximately 250 lbs. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue pants.

Suspect #2 (pictured above) is described as 18 years old, 5'9" and approximately 150 lbs. He wears his hair in short twists. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweater, dark colored jeans with red and white gym shoes.

Suspect #3 (pictured above) is described as approximately 18 years old, 5'8" and about 150 lbs. He has dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, and dark colored jeans with rips on the front.
