DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are searching for a teenager who was last seen leaving Cass Tech High School nearly two weeks ago.
Authorities say 16-year-old Caleb McIntosh was last seen leaving the school in the 2500 block of Second Avenue around 1 p.m. on Jan. 30. Though McIntosh did call his mother later that evening to tell her he was fine, he never came home.
He hasn't been seen or heard from since that day.
Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding McIntosh's disappearance and are asking for the public's help in locating him.
McIntosh is described only as a 16-year-old black male. He was last seen wearing a black coat with a hood, a white hooded sweatshirt underneath, black pants and black Timberland boots. Caleb is in good physical condition and mental condition, according to police.
Anyone who has seen Caleb McIntosh or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call the Detroit Police Department’s Fourth Precinct Investigative Unit at 313-596-5440 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800--SPEAK-UP.
