HOLLY TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - Authorities say one person was killed after a car smashed into a gravel hauler in northern Oakland County.
The crash happened around 7:20 a.m. Thursday along Grange Hall Road west of Fish Lake Road in Holly Township.
According to police, a 28-year-old Holly Township man was traveling westbound when he lost control of his vehicle, crossed into oncoming traffic and was struck by a gravel hauler that was heading eastbound.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name hasn't been released.
The truck driver was not injured. No other vehicles were involved.
Police say drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors with the truck driver.
The crash remains under investigation.
