(WWJ) A truck driver has been killed in a fiery rollover crash along I-94.
According to Michigan State Police, the semi-truck was traveling westbound on the freeway in Taylor, just before 2 p.m. Monday, when the truck's front axle had a malfunction causing him to lose control near Beech Daly Rd.
The truck hit another vehicle and went off the roadway, MSP said.
The semi then overturned and caught fire, killing the driver.
No other injuries were reported.
Westbound I-94 was completely shut down at the scene, with traffic exiting at Telegraph Rd. All lanes were still closed as of 6 p.m.
The victim was not immediately identified as the investigation continues.
