DETROIT (WWJ) - Investigators say a smash-and-grab robbery sparked a fire at a store on Detroit's west side.
The incident happened early Thursday morning at a strip mall on Livernois at Ewald Circle, just north of the Davison Freeway.
The building caught fire after a vehicle crashed into a commercial clothing store.
It's unclear if the suspects got away with anything.
The incident remains under investigation.
