Michigan's Little Bavaria will soon be a flurry of activity as its 29th annual Snowfest kicks off Wednesday.

Break the winter blues with this family-friendly event in Frankenmuth, Mich. Keep the kids entertained with pony rides, a petting zoo and carousel rides.

According to organizers, more than 100,000 are expected to participate in the festival.

Running January 22-27, the 2020 Zehnder’s Snowfest is six days of winter fun including a competition snow carving event, live music, karaoke contest and of course lots of food.

Zehnder's of Frankenmuth is known for its chicken dinners and old-world German decor, but visitors this week will wonder at artist's creations in snow and ice between trips to warming tents, area shops and restaurants.
