DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police have more questions than answers after a gunshot victim was found critically injured in the city's North End neighborhood.
Police say the 30-year-old victim was discovered around 11:10 a.m. Saturday lying near the street in the 50 block of Leicester near Woodward Avenue and Owen Street, south of Chicago Boulevard.
The victim was suffering from a gunshot wound to the body and was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
A suspect description was not immediately released, but witnesses saw a white Lincoln leaving the immediate area after the shooting.
Circumstances surrounding the incident are still being investigated.
