DETROIT (WWJ) - A 21-year-old Detroit man is clinging to life after being shot on the city's west side.
The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 8500 block of Mark Twain, near Joy Road and Hubbell Avenue.
According to police, witnesses heard gunshots in the area, looked outside and observed the victim lying on the ground in front of a house.
The victim was transported to the hospital where he was last reported in critical condition.
Investigators are now trying to learn what led up to the shooting. No suspect description was provided.
