
INKSTER, Mich. (WWJ) -- Authorities are reminding residents to lock their vehicles after several individuals have been going through Inkster neighborhoods checking for unlocked doors.
Inkster police say the suspects were spotted on doorbell cameras walking down the street in the area west of Inkster Road and Avondale around 1 a.m. Tuesday.
Police are not only encouraging residents to keep their vehicles locked, but also to file a police report if they notice anything has been stolen.
It was not clear how many thefts had been reported.
Police released surveillance video of the individuals on Facebook and are asking anyone who recognizes the suspects or knows anything about the incidents to contact officer Lebo at 313-400-5387. Police say all tipsters can remain anonymous.
