Last-Minute Holiday Tech Gifts For All Ages

Christmas and Hanukkah are just around the corner and time is running out for that last-minute holiday shopping but never fear -- Newsradio 950's Zach Clark has an idea that works for all ages.

Verizon's gadget guy Steve Van Dinter brought a slew of tech devices sure to meet the needs of any gift-giver or recipient.

The Quanta GizmoWatch ($179) is a Dick Tracy-esque watch that gives parents location information for their child and allows the child to call numbers programmed by a parent to stay in touch.

The Google Nest Hub Max ($229) is the latest in digital assistants. Van Dinter demonstrated the device reacting to voice commands to show instructional videos and initiate video calls. The Hub Max can also sync with a Google Photos account to show photos taken of their grandkids in realtime.

Plus, WWJ producer Louis Ricard speaks French fluently and puts the Google Nest Hub Max to the test on video. How does it go during a conversation about gift giving? Pretty well according to Ricard.
