BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WWJ) -- A Bloomfield Hills man is in police custody after allegedly peeping in windows in late January.
Bloomfield Township Police were called to South Spinning Wheel Drive around 10 p.m. on Feb. 6 on the report of someone looking into the windows of a home and spotted a man running from the backyard of a home in the 500 block of that street.
Authorities say the subject fit the description of a man who was caught looking into windows of a home in the 2000 block of Spinning Wheel on Jan. 30 and Jan. 31. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.
Shortly after the subject was detained, the homeowner from the original complaint showed officers surveillance footage of the same man underneath a window at the rear of his home.
The suspect, identified as 27-year-old Donovan Rashaad Johnson of Bloomfield Hills, was issued a citation for window peeping.
Johnson was arraigned on Feb. 7 in front Magistrate Howard Linden in the 48th District Court. He was given a cash bond of $10,000, no 10%. Johnson was ordered to werar a GPS tether and has to surrender all firearms to the Bloomfield Township Police Department. His next court date is scheduled for Feb. 12 at 10:30 a.m. in the 48th District Court.
