(WWJ) A Waterford Township man is being held without bond, charged with the premeditated murder of his wife.
Waterford Township police responded to a 911 call about a domestic disturbance, shortly before 3:30 a.m. last Friday, at a home on Seeden Street.
When officers arrived they found a 39-year-old woman has been stabbed in the chest, according to Waterford police.
The victim's husband, 38-year-old William Kuchon was tasered by police arrested at the scene. The wife, Jessica Kuchon, was taken to a local hospital, where she later died.
Also found in the home was the family dog, who was stabbed to death, and the couple's 13-year-old daughter, who was unharmed.
William Kuchon was arraigned in 51st District Court Monday on one count of first degree murder, a life felony, and one count of killing/torturing an animal, a four-year felony.
Bond was denied and William Kuchon was remanded into custody in the Oakland County Jail. He is due back in court for a probable cause conference scheduled for Oct. 13.
According to an online obituary, Jessica Hope Moyer Kuchon, who went by "Jessi," graduated from Waterford Kettering High School in 2000. She leaves behind two daughters.
