BLOOMFIELD TWP. (WWJ) - Police are looking for tips to identify a man who stole from a Best Buy in Bloomfield Township with a child in tow.
The alleged crime was committed last Friday, August 23, at the store located at 2169 Telegraph Road.
According to investigators, the suspect was caught on video surveillance entering a restroom with store merchandise. When he exited, the merchandise could no longer be seen.
Evidence was found in the restroom that led officers to believe the suspect removed two Nintendo Switch games from their packaging.
The suspect is described as black male, 6'3", thin build with a full beard wearing a camouflage coat and black pants. With him was a little girl, approximately 6 years old, with braids and white beads in her hair.
It's believed they drove away in an older model gray Chevy Impala.
As the investigation continues, police have released photos of he suspect and the suspect vehicle.
