INKSTER (WWJ) - Police in Inkster are searching for a killer after a man was found shot to death inside a garage.
The incident unfolded around 7:15 p.m. Thursday when police got a call about shots fired in the area of New York and Princess, in a neighborhood south of Michigan Avenue between John Daly and Inkster roads.
When they arrived at the scene, troopers found numerous shell casings scattered in the intersection. During an initial canvass of the area, troopers also discovered a 23-year-old Inkster man dead inside a nearby garage.
At this time, details on a suspect are not available.
An investigation is ongoing.
