DETROIT (WWJ) - Authorities are trying to piece together what led to a deadly crash on Detroit's west side.
It happened Tuesday morning at the corner of Linwood and Davison. Preliminary information is that a car and SUV collided in the intersection, which sent the SUV veering into a utility pole.
One man was killed.
Other circumstances surrounding the crash weren't immediately clear.
Traffic on Linwood is blocked off, but traffic on Davison is still moving past the accident scene. Drivers are urged to avoid the area while a police investigation is continuing.
