(WWJ) Authorities are offering a $1,000 reward for information to identify a man who allegedly vandalized Pine Knob Ski Resort.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office says the suspect drove a dirt bike to the top of the ski hill, off Sashabaw Road in Clarkston, and damaged security gates and the electronic eyes on ski lifts.

During the hour-and-a-half he was on the hill, security video shows the man throwing an electronic eye and wires off the backside of the hill and carving LOHS 2021 into a wooden fence.

The LOHS may stand for Lake Orion High School, investigators have surmised.

About $1,000 in damage was done, official said.

The suspect is described as a while male, around 25 years old with dark hair and a beard.  He was wearing black shorts, a black t-shirt and a black helmet, and was riding a dirt bike with green and black fenders.

Authorities on Wednesday released several images of the suspect, hoping that someone in the public knows the man. The OCOS says he is wanted on charges of trespassing and malicious destruction of property.
