(WWJ) A baby girl, allegedly abducted in the Downriver area, has been found safe.
Michigan State Police put out an Endangered Missing Advisory late Thursday afternoon for 4-month-old Ivy Rain Delarosa, last seen in Melvindale.
Police said she had been abducted by her biological mother's boyfriend, identified as 47-year-old Richard Edwardo Delarosa, in a dark blue 2003 Montana.
Investigators believed the suspect may have been headed a family member's home in Detroit, or in Perrysburg, Ohio, police said.
Just before 6 p.m., MSP put out an update saying "after a diligent effort by law enforcement," the child was "located safe" in Perrysburg.
It's not clear at this time if the child's alleged abductor is in custody, or if he may face charges.
Police said arrangements were being made Thursday evening to return Ivy back to her family in Michigan.
