DETROIT (WWJ) - Metro Detroit was walloped with a winter storm overnight, leaving the region blanketed with several inches of snow.
The latest snowfall totals from the National Weather Service show the largest accumulation -- 8.2 inches of snow -- was measured in Monroe.
The official measurement for Detroit, taken at Metro Airport in Romulus, is 6.8 inches.
