
(WWJ) A 23-year-old Warren man was killed in a crash that shut down I-75 Monday evening, according to police.
It happened at around 6 p.m. in a construction zone in the Madison Heights area.
The motorcyclist was tossed off bike onto the southbound side of the freeway where he was hit by a car, police said. He died at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
Following the wreck, southbound I-75 was closed at Adams Rd., and northbound was closed at 12 Mile Rd. as police investigated. The freeway reopened to traffic in both directions a little after 9 p.m. Monday.
The man's name was not released.
