DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are investigating a possible murder on the city's west side.
The incident happened around 11:20 p.m. Thursday in the area of Cathedral Street and the Southfield Freeway, north of Joy Road.
Police say the 23-year-old victim was in the area when he was shot and privately taken to a local hospital where he died.
Circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown and remain under investigation.
Police have no suspect information at this time.
