(WWJ) A man accused in a road rage shooting in Ferndale last month has been slapped with multiple felony charges.
Ferndale Police say Lahab Goriel, 37, of Oak Park was arrested in connection with a shooting on EB Eight Mile near Livernois, July 30 around 6pm. A man called officers, saying another driver shot at his car during a traffic altercation.
Officers met up with the man in a parking lot near Eight Mile and Woodward, according to the press release.
After an investigation, police say officers arrested Goriel "several hours later."
No injuries were reported.
Goriel was arraigned on one count of Discharging Firearm from Vehicle, one count Firearm in Possession By Felon, and two counts of Felony Firearm 2nd Offense. He was given a $20,000 personal bond. He is due back in court August 31.
