WATERFORD (WWJ) - Police in Waterford have identified a person of interest in a murder case who was frequently seen cutting grass at the victim's house.
Investigators are searching for 35-year-old Adonis Drey Wilson. He's described as a black male, 6' tall and 240 lbs. with a long face and nose, black hair in dreadlocks and brown eyes.
Wilson is believed to be driving a white 2007 Dodge Caravan with Michigan license plate "CCA 014." Police say the minivan has visible rust.
Witnesses told investigators that Wilson had been cutting the grass at the woman's home, at 40 N. Lynn Street, shortly before it caught fire and she was found dead on Tuesday, Aug. 27. He was also seen at the home several times in the past and may have provided lawn cutting services to others.
The victim, believed to be in her 50s, was found by firefighters working to extinguish a smoldering fire at her home. Her name hasn't been released and police have not said how she was killed or why they think she was murdered.
