Police Searching For Man In F-150 In Dearborn Road Rage Shooting [PHOTOS]

(WWJ) Police are looking for a man they're calling a "subject of interest" in a shooting in Dearborn.

According to police, the shooting happened during a "road rage incident" on Thursday, Aug.20,  near the area of Oakman Blvd. and Warren Ave. in Dearborn.


One person was shot multiple times by someone in a pickup truck, police said, and was taken to  Beaumont Hospital for treatment. His or her condition is unknown at this time. 

Police said they are looking for 25-year-old Jawad Aref Bazzi, described as a heavyset Arab male, 5'8'' tall, with black short hair and brown eyes.  He was last seen driving a silver 2020 Ford F-150 with black stripes on the driver and passenger doors, Michigan license plate DVD8076, with a black truck bed.

The alleged shooter and the victim are "acquaintances," according to investigators. 

On Monday, police released a photo of the possible shooter and his vehicle, in hopes that someone has seen him. 

"This subject is considered armed and dangerous," added Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad. 

The investigation is still ongoing.
