(WWJ) Does anyone recognize these wanted men?
Detroit police are hoping someone in the public can identify a pair of suspects who robbed a man at gunpoint, on the city's west side.
It happened at around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, in the 20000 block of Schoolcraft, near Evergreen Rd.,
Investigators say the 33-year-old victim was walking to his car when he was approached by two unknown men.
As seen in a high-definition image released by the DPD on Thursday, one one of the suspects produced a handgun and pointed it at the victim.
The two suspects went through the victim's pockets, police said, taking undisclosed personal items.
The suspects then fled the scene in an older model black/gray SUV (pictured).
No shots were fired and no injuries were reported.
Police said suspect number one is described as a Black male wearing a white shirt, blue pants and red shoes, along with a white bucket hat and black face mask.
Suspect number two — the one holding the gun — was also a described as Black male. He was wearing a white shirt with orange print on the center, black shorts and red and black shoes, with a black hat and a red face mask.
Anyone who can ID either of the suspects, or who has any information about this armed robbery is asked to call the Detroit Police Department's Sixth Precinct at 313-596-5640. To remain anonymous, call the Crime Stoppers tip line at 1-800-SPEAK UP (1-800-773-2587).
