(WWJ) Three little girls are recovering from injuries they sustained during a drive-by shooting in Pontiac.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office said the children were in a home on Dudley, a few blocks north of M-59, when they were struck by gunfire around 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

They are 7 years, 11 years and 10 months old.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office tells WWJ the family was in the southwest bedroom playing a game when they heard gunshots and glass breaking.

The grandparents, 53 and 45, were watching their three grandchildren, as well as their own young son, 9, and daughter, 12.

Gunfire struck the three girls.

The 11-year-old was shot in the hip; the 7-year-old shot in the torso; and the 10-month-old shot in the buttocks, The Oakland County Sheriff said.

The children are hospitalized in stable condition. Investigators say they are expected to survive.

The other two children and the grandparents were not hurt.

The suspect's vehicle is pictured below. It is possibly a Chrysler 300.

The family said they have "no idea who might have done this or why," according to the release.

Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-800-SpeakUp. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
