AUBURN HILLS (WWJ) - Tips have come in, but there have been no arrests yet in the case of a pornographic video displayed on a billboard along I-75.

"We have received a few tips, but nothing concrete," Auburn Hills Police Lt. Ryan Gagnon told WWJ Newsradio 950 on Friday, adding: "We continue to investigate the case."

It's been several days since police released a security camera photo of two suspects who allegedly broke into a building housing the computer that operates the billboard, south of M-59, last Saturday night.

Police said the suspects scaled a 6-foot fence, forced entry into the shack and loaded up the graphic video, which played on both sides of the billboard for about 20 minutes.

Multiple drivers called 9-1-1 to report it, and the owner of the billboard quickly shut it off.

Police said the suspects appear to be young white males, wearing glasses and hoodies, while others have theorized at least one could be a female.

If identified and convicted, the culprits could faces 90 days in jail and/or a $500 fine under an Auburn Hills ordinance that prohibits promoting pornography in public. They also face potential burglary charges for forcing entry into the building, police said, which is a felony offense.

As the investigation continues, police are asking anyone who recognizes the suspects or who has any information to call them at 248-364-9460.
