DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are investigating a deadly hit-and-run crash on Detroit's west side.
The crash happened just after 5:30 p.m. Thursday on Fenkell Avenue near Freeland Street, just east of Hubbell Avenue.
An unidentified woman believed to be between 45- and 50-years-old was hit and killed by a vehicle.
Other circumstances, including a vehicle description and the victim's identity, are unknown at this time.
Police are asking any witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 313-267-4600.
