WB I-94 Near Woodward Reopens After Road Rage Shooting Investigation

(WWJ) Michigan State Police are investigating yet another freeway shooting.

State Police say Metro South Post troopers responded to a call on WB I-94 near Woodward, in Detroit, around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday where an unidentified suspect had shot at another car during a road rage incident.

The victim’s vehicle was struck on the roof, according to State Police.

The freeway reopened around 4 p.m, after troopers closed it to search for casings.

Investigators say one of the cars had multiple people inside, while the other had one man.

No injuries were reported.

State Police urge drivers not to escalate road rage incidents and to simply "let it go." There have been more than 15 freeway shootings in Metro Detroit since June.
