
(WWJ) Westland Police are calling on the public to help them find and identify a car involved in a deadly hit-and-run.
Westland Police say a Taylor woman, 56, was riding her bike on Van Born Road west of Farnum Street when the car struck and killed her. It happened on Wednesday, April 29, around 9 pm.
The driver, believed to be in a light-colored 2000-2006 GMC Yukon XL, fled north on Marshall Drive; according to police. The car is pictured below.


The car sustained damage to its ‘front grill, front bumper and the parking light’ on the passenger side. It could also have a broken windshield.
