HIGHLAND PARK (WWJ) - Two suspects were taken into custody after shots were fired at passersby from an apartment building along the border of Detroit and Highland Park in the middle of the night.
The incident unfolded around 2 a.m. Wednesday outside of the Covington Terrace Apartments off Covington Drive and Second Avenue, near Woodward Avenue and McNichols.

July 17, 2019 The victim told police he was walking by the apartment building when someone inside started shooting. He was taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Two people were taken into custody. No further information was released.
An investigation is ongoing.
