DETROIT (WWJ) -- The search is on for a missing Detroit teenager who has not been seen since Friday afternoon.
Detroit police say around 12:30 p.m. on Friday, 13-year-old DaeQuan Spraggins-Cole left a home in the 15800 block of Tacoma Street on the city's northeast side. His mother says he left the location without permission and failed to return. She says he may be riding a black bike.
Spraggins-Cole is described as 5-foot-5, approximately 110 lbs., with a slim build, dark complexion, black hair and brown eyes. He has a diamond stud earring in his left ear and was last seen wearing black, hooded Umbro seatshirt, blue stone washed jeans and black Nike Air Force One gym shoes with flowers on them.
Police say the teen is in good physical and mental condition.
