(WWJ) A ride-share driver was shot while picking up a customer on Detroit's west side in what appears to be a case where they were called to be a getaway driver
Reports say the female driver arrived at the location on Grandville at about 6:45 a.m. Sunday when she was called there for a pickup.
That was when she saw the client damaging a vehicle in the driveway of the home.
That person ran towards the ride share and told the driver to take off. As they drove away, a person came out of the house and fired shots, striking the victim.
Detroit Police continue to investigate.
