ROSEVILLE (WWJ) - A suspect is at large after gunshots rang out at an apartment complex in Roseville, leaving a man hospitalized.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Meadows Apartments off Masonic and I-94, just east of Little Mack Avenue.
Juan Gotti Goddavelli said he heard several gunshots followed by someone screaming for help from the parking lot.
"I went over there and when I got over there, there was just blood everywhere," Goddavelli told WWJ's Mike Campbell. "I was like, 'Is you ok?' and he was like, 'They shot me. They shot me. They shot me.' I said the police is on the way and the ambulance is on the way and I was like, 'Why'd they shoot you?' and he was like, he didn't know."
The 29-year-old man was taken to the hospital and last reported in serious condition.
At this time, police haven't identified a suspect or a motive.
An investigation is ongoing.
