(WWJ) A rough night unfolded for police in downtown Detroit after a triple shooting in Greektown and another shooting near Comerica Park rocked the region.
First, at about midnight three men in a crowd at Greektown "felt something weird," then realized they had been shot, per WWJ's Charlie Langton. All are in stable condition, but the shooter is on the run.
Two hours later near Comerica Park at Woodward and Adams, there was a shooting after a car accident. That shooter is in custody; The condition of the victim is unknown.
It's been considered a road rage incident.
"When I saw that guy pull that gun out ... I was just sitting there and I just said 'Wow, what's there to prove? What's the bottom line?" said taxi driver Steve, who witnessed the second incident. "Over nothing."
He described the victim as so young he's "just a baby."
