HOWELL (WWJ) - "Bigfoot" apparently just wanted to spend a day at the beach.
Days after a large cutout of Bigfoot was stolen from outside Handmade in Howell, a shop on Michigan Avenue that features products from local vendors, it mysteriously reappeared at the store with some extra accessories.
After asking the public for help on Monday locating the 8-foot tall cutout, owners found it Wednesday morning propped up against the side of the store wearing a Hawaiian skirt with a pink lei around its neck and a cigarette hanging out of its mouth. It also had a sign taped to its arm that said "DTW - Honolulu - Gone Fishing!"
While the store owners aren't sure exactly what happened to Bigfoot over the past couple days, they're just thankful to have it back.
