DETROIT (WWJ) -- The search is on for a missing 13-year-old Detroit girl.

Detroit police say Julia Perry has not been seen since Thursday night. Perry left her family's home in the 19000 block of Tireman Avenue on the west side of the city after getting into an argument with her mother, according to police.


Perry's mother went into her daughter's bedroom around 11:30 p.m. and discovered her missing and the window open.

Perry is described as a black female, approximately 5-foot-5, 110 lbs. with dark brown complexion and a red ponytail. She was last seen wearing gray pants and has a red rose tattoo on her right arm.

It was reported that Julia is in good physical and mental condition.
