HARRISON TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - Three people have been charged with stealing $99,000 from a bank ATM in Macomb County.

The sheriff's office says 22-year-old Davon Perry, 22-year-old Lorenzo Burks and 21-year-old Gisselle Delacruz were arraigned Monday on various charges in connection with the robbery, which happened Jan. 2 at the Comerica Bank on Jefferson Avenue near Shook Road in Harrison Township.

Police say a service technician was working on the ATM when a masked man with a gun came up to him and demanded cash. The technician turned over the money and notified the staff inside, who called 911.

Investigators say surveillance video led them to a residential complex in Harrison Township where Perry lived. While canvasing the area, officers located several empty currency containers that were stolen from the ATM. Perry was also identified as a suspect at that time, police said.

Perry was arrested Friday and during a search of his home, according to police, officers recovered a black airsoft gun, a ski mask and a license plate believed to have been used in the robbery. A large amount of cash was also discovered inside his home as well as in a vehicle he was driving, police said.

Burks and Delacruz were also arrested Friday. Police say Delacruz, who has a child in common with Perry, had rented the vehicle used in the robbery and accepted cash and other gifts gained from the robbery. Burks, a friend of Perry’s, helped plan the robbery, according to police.

Perry is charged with armed robbery, bank robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, conspiracy to commit bank robbery and using a firearm during a felony. Burks is charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery and conspiracy to commit bank robbery. Delacruz is charged with two counts of accessory after the fact.

Perry and Burks, who face life in prison if convicted as charged, were ordered jailed on a $250,000 bond. Delacruz, who faces five years, was given a $25,000 bond.

All three are due back in court for probable cause conferences on Jan. 16.
