DETROIT (WWJ) - Workers at a local liquor store are picking up the pieces after someone left a gaping hole in the side of the building.
The incident happened early Tuesday morning at the Liquor Town liquor store on Davison Street just west of the Lodge Freeway.
Someone used a box-truck to smash through the building's brick wall in what appears to be an attempted smash-and-grab robbery.
It's unclear if the suspect got away with anything, but the vehicle was left behind at the scene.
Police are now searching for the suspect. No description was provided.
