DEARBORN (WWJ) - If you hear loud sounds and notice police at the University of Michigan campus in Dearborn, don't worry -- it's only a drill.
An active shooter training will take place at the U-M Dearborn campus, along Evergreen Road near Michigan Avenue, all day Thursday.
Authorities say a large police, fire and EMS presence will be on campus from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Nearby residents and passersby are being warned there may be simulated gunfire, to go along with loud sounds and real movements of first responders.
