WESTLAND, Mich. (WWJ) -- Westland police are asking for the public's help in returning a dog they believe may have been taken from outside its owner's home in December.
Officials say they are attempting to identify a vehicle and subjects that may have knowledge of the dog's wherabouts.
Video shows the female dog, an all-white Husky-German Shepard mix, sitting on the home's front porch around 9 a.m. on Dec. 12 in the 1600 block of Hanlon Street in Westland when what's believed to be a silver Chrysler Pacifica drives by the house.
Officials say the vehicle drove by the house twice before, and stopped in front of the house when it came by a third time. The dog is seen walking toward the vehicle and is not seen again after it leaves the frame.
The dog, weighing approzimately 20 lbs., was not wearing a collar at the time of the disappearance.
