A south Louisiana native, Mark Menard earned his journalism degree at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, La., in 2001 then moved to New Orleans after graduation and began working his way up the ranks at longtime news/talk station WWL, moving from board operator to producer to sports writer/anchor as well as earning a hosting spot during postgame coverage on the New Orleans Saints Radio Network.
As of 2021, Mark has brought his talents to Audacy’s central news team, an elite writing corps creating stories for stations across the United States. Mark will be covering the southeastern U.S. while still making the Crescent City his home-base.
