A section of I-275 near Detroit Metropolitan Airport was closed for several hours overnight after a man's body was found on the roadway.
His body was found on the southbound shoulder near Eureka in Romulus.
Officials located an unoccupied vehicle nearby, but aren't yet sure if the two things are related.
A cause of death was not immediately available, and police did not reveal if they believe the man was the victim of foul play or somehow died of natural causes.
