DETROIT (WWJ) - Campus police have arrested one suspect in connection to four sexual assaults on Wayne State University students on Monday, officials said.
The man allegedly hugged and touched woman while on the Detroit campus, FOX 2 reported.
A 21-year-old woman reported the suspect after she was touched by her classroom in the College of Education Building at 5425 Second around 11:20 a.m. She told police that the man gave her a compliment and then hugged her, running his hands on her back and chest.
She said she also felt him kiss her cheek.
The second incident occurred shortly after noon, FOX 2 reported, A 22-year-old woman said she got a knock on her door while she was in the STEM Innovation Learning Center at 5048 Second, When she opened it up, a man matching the description of the first incident put his arms around her and gave her a hug.
Not an hour later at 12:50 p.m., two women were touched by a man also matching the description in the other reports while on the second floor of the Undergraduate Library at 5155 Gullen Mall.
The two victims, both 19-year-old women, told police they were both hugged while one of the victims said she felt the man's hand on her outer thigh.
According to FOX 2, the man left the area on the bus, but was later apprehended by police.
