TAYLOR (WWJ) - One person was wounded Wednesday evening after shots were fired during a fight at a Taylor basketball court.
Taylor police were at the scene of a shooting at Northwest Park, located on Van Born Road just west of Beech Daly, the night of June 21 where at least one person was struck by gunfire.
Reports say the shooting stemmed from an argument between two groups of people inside a vehicle and outside on a basketball court, but police have yet to confirm these details.
According to FOX 2, Taylor Police Chief John Blair only said that one person wounded. He did not have any suspect information to share.
The incident remains under investigation. Additional details are expected to be released at a later time.
